Enact Advisory Services Private Limited provides validation and verification services for environmental and greenhouse gas (GHG)–related information in accordance with applicable standards, methodologies, and programme requirements.

Our detailed scope of services, including the sectors, activities, and programmes covered under our accreditation, is defined in our official accreditation scope and may be updated from time to time.

Accreditation Information

Enact Advisory Services Private Limited operates a management system and validation/verification processes designed to meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 17029 (Conformity assessment – General principles and requirements for validation and verification bodies) and ISO 14065 (General principles and requirements for bodies validating and verifying environmental information).


Where applicable, our accreditation is under progress with  the Sri Lanka Accreditation Board for Conformity Assessment (SLAB) for defined scopes, sectors, and programmes.


Details of our current accreditation, including applicable standards, scope of services, and approved locations, are available on the official website of the accreditation body, as well as in our accreditation certificate and documented scope.


Clients and interested parties are encouraged to consult the accreditation body’s directory to verify the validity, status, and extent of our accreditation.

Process for Clients (How We Work)

Request Review & Proposal

Evaluation of the client’s request, followed by submission of a proposal outlining the scope, timeline, and applicable fees.

Planning

Development of a validation or verification plan, including risk assessment and allocation of competent resources.

Assessment Execution

Conduct of the validation or verification activities, which may include document review, data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and site visits, as appropriate

Findings & Clarifications

Identification and communication of findings, with opportunities for the client to address or clarify any issues, where applicable

Independent Review & Decision

An impartial technical review is conducted prior to making a final validation or verification decision.

Reporting & Statement Issuance

Issuance of the validation or verification statement, along with any supporting reports, in accordance with applicable standards and programme requirements. 

Throughout the engagement, we provide clients with clear information on applicable requirements, roles and responsibilities, and expected deliverables to ensure transparency and effective collaboration.

Complaints and Appeals

Enact Advisory Services Private Limited welcomes feedback and is committed to handling complaints and appeals in a fair, transparent, timely, and impartial manner.

  • A complaint is an expression of dissatisfaction, other than an appeal, by any individual or organisation regarding our services or the conduct of our personnel. â€‹

  • An appeal is a formal request by a client for reconsideration of a decision made by Enact Advisory Services Private Limited in relation to a specific validation or verification engagement.

Complaints and appeals may be submitted in writing via email or postal address. Upon receipt, we acknowledge the submission, review the information provided, and follow a defined process to investigate and respond appropriately.


All complaints and appeals are handled by personnel who are independent of the subject matter of the complaint or the decision being appealed, ensuring objectivity and impartiality throughout the process.

 

The outcome of the review, along with any actions taken, is communicated to the complainant or appellant within a reasonable timeframe.


All information related to complaints and appeals is treated with strict confidentiality, subject to applicable legal, regulatory, or accreditation requirements.
 

Confidentiality and Protection of Information

Enact Advisory Services Private Limited treats all information obtained or created during the performance of validation and verification activities as confidential, except where disclosure is required by applicable law, regulation, programme rules, or accreditation requirements.


We maintain appropriate procedures and safeguards to protect confidential information and ensure that it is used solely for the purpose of delivering our services and meeting our contractual and regulatory obligations.


Where disclosure of information is required, we inform the client in advance, unless such notification is restricted or prohibited by law.


All personnel, including external experts and contractors, are bound by strict confidentiality obligations and are required to comply with our information security and data protection policies to ensure the protection of client information at all times.

Use of Validation/Verification Statements and Marks

Clients may use validation or verification statements issued by Enact Advisory Services Private Limited to communicate the outcome of our assessment, in accordance with applicable programme, regulatory, and contractual requirements.


Any reference to Enact Advisory Services Private Limited, including the use of our name, statements, or accreditation marks, must be accurate, not misleading, and in full compliance with our rules governing their use.

Clients shall ensure that:

  • References to validation or verification apply only to the specific scope covered by the engagement. 

  • No implication is made that our validation or verification extends to activities, data, or information outside the agreed scope. 

  • Our services are not misrepresented as certification of products, processes, or management systems, unless explicitly stated.

Any misuse or misleading representation of our name, statements, or associated marks may result in appropriate corrective actions. These may include requests for correction, suspension or withdrawal of services, public clarification, or notification to relevant authorities, accreditation bodies, or programme owners.
